Fritha Quinn from @tigerlillyquinn
Master Bathroom Renovation
This family of four said goodbye to a cramped, shower-only bathroom and hello to a space full of character. Wanting to swap out the “millennial grey” look for something warmer and more timeless, Fritha leaned into her home’s Victorian charm with soft pink tiles, a corner clawfoot bath, and our Halcyon brushed brass range. Clever choices helped make the most of the compact layout, creating a bathroom that feels calm, stylish, and just a little bit luxurious.

What was the main challenge with your old bathroom?
"When we first moved into our home the bathroom had a shower only. As a family who love baths, we knew we wanted to remedy this as soon as we could. The bathroom style and colour scheme were also not my cup of tea (very millennial grey!) but it was functional. We wanted to live in the space for a while also to know what could work best for our family of four."

"The bath was always going to be the main focal point. I’ve always wanted a claw foot bath but never thought it could be an option in a smaller space. I love this corner show bath as it allowed us to utilise the space we had. Being able to see the tiles under the also gives the illusion of a much bigger room."
What inspired your design choices?
"When I saw the Halcyon brushed brass shower range I totally fell in love with it. We wanted to keep in taste with the Victorian style of our home but modernise it which I think this range has really done. The shower system with the bath is so beautiful together.
The modern Stealth mirror has also made such a huge difference, both in making the room look bigger but adding by tying in classic styles with modern touches. I love that the mirror doesn’t steam up when I am doing my make up after a shower too!"

What makes the biggest difference in your new bathroom?
"The whole room looks and feels so much bigger. There is a sense of calm whenever I walk into it. We removed the storage cupboard from the old bathroom and moved bedding and other household items to our utility room leaving only the bathroom necessities. I think simplifying everything allows us to keep the room clean and minimal but the bold colour choices make it feel inviting and cosy."
